‘This one question changed where we put our pension saving’
Like other Christians, Andrew and his wife have regularly given part of their income to the Lord’s work and after taking early retirement, they wanted to continue to do so. Up to this point, they used a mainstream bank for this purpose, but discovering Kingdom Bank gave them confidence that their contributions could be used more effectively for supporting Christian ministries.
I thought all banks were the same
Retirement caused us to review our saving plans, and it was as a result of this process that we discovered that the investment practices of various banks differed. I thought all banks were the same – just looking to maximise their own profits and not investing in good causes. My wife commented ‘I wonder if there are any banks that support Christian causes?’ It was this question that led us to discover Kingdom Bank.
A way for us to use our savings for God’s glory
We knew that we could earn more interest on our money set aside for giving if we held the funds elsewhere but felt that it would be sat idle. Whereas, by choosing to save our contributions with Kingdom Bank, we knew that our money would be put to work to support Christian ministries. It felt like a really good match, and a way to better use our money for God’s glory while we decide where to give.
The staff are more than helpful
My experience with the Bank has been very good. It’s very nice to be able to speak with Christians and honestly feels like it makes a real difference having that commonality.
I’ve already been recommending Kingdom Bank to people at my church, as many of our church family are similarly unaware that there’s a bank that supports Christian ministries. It’s brilliant to be able to open a savings account that enables the Lord’s work, and we would have done so before if we had known about Kingdom Bank sooner.
