We currently have a vacancy for a Marketing & Business Development Manager on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

Role

Working closely with the CEO, lead and manage the Bank’s Marketing & Business Development function as it seeks to: (i) raise the Bank’s brand profile among its target market of evangelical UK churches and Christian individuals; and (ii) build trusted relationships to grow the business. This will, at all times, be in accordance with the Bank’s policies and values.

Some of the Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities are:

  • Department Management
    • Lead and manage the Marketing & Business Development team, also comprising the Business Development Relationship Executive and the Market Data Analyst.
    • Manage and control the Marketing & Business Development department budget.
    • Report to the CEO and/or Wider Leadership Team on the department’s activities and progress against goals.
    • With responsibility to the Bank’s Data Protection Officer (a role held by the Chief Risk Officer (‘CRO’)), ensure full regulatory-compliant data handling and communications, noting specifically:
      • the requirements of GDPR;
      • the requirements set by the Bank’s regulators (FCA and PRA); and
      • the Bank’s open and compliant culture which places a high priority on obeying regulatory authorities and, where errors are made, transparency in reporting all breaches and near misses.
    • Raising Brand Profile
      • Oversee and lead on the planning, creation and monitoring of all the Bank’s external communications and branded materials.
      • Work closely with Bank’s creative agency to plan and produce content for social media and the website as well as branded collateral.
      • Work with the Bank’s external PR specialist to generate ideas for PR content to be shared with the Christian and secular press as appropriate.
      • Arrange the production of branded collateral for use in customer communications and at conferences as required.

 

Hours of Employment

This is a maternity cover role, ideally starting on or before 1 December 2021, on a fixed-term contract until 31 December 2022.

21 hours per week to be agreed under the company flexible working policy, but expected to be spread across three to five days per week, from Mondays to Fridays and between 8.00am and 7.00pm. 

27 days’ paid holiday (plus statutory holidays) pro-rated for 60% part-time employment, and the opportunity to purchase an additional five days’ holiday per annum.

Place of Employment

Role to be based at the Bank’s office: Media House, Padge Road, Beeston, Nottingham NG9 2RS.

Remote working arrangements by agreement in accordance with the Bank’s flexible working policy.  It is anticipated that this role will be office-based for at least two days per week, but this is open to negotiation for the right candidate.

Presence at Christian conferences (some residential) during the year.

Remuneration Package

Salary, dependent on skills and experience, between £16,800 and £18,600 for 60% part-time employment (between £28,000 and £31,000 full-time equivalent).

This has created an opportunity in our Marketing and Business Development Team for a Market Data Analyst.

Role

Utilising the Bank’s internal data and developing available external data, actively to support the Bank’s marketing and business development activities within its target market of UK evangelical churches, at all times in accordance with the Bank’s policies and values.

Some of the Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities are:

  • Support the Bank’s customer communications activity by utilising the customer data held within the Bank’s banking and insurance systems.
  • Support the Bank’s marketing and business development activity by extracting and analysing data held within the Bank’s banking and insurance systems and CRM database, as well as externally available data on the UK church market.
  • Take initiative to suggest creative and innovative ways of utilising data for the benefit of the Bank achieving its purposes.
  • Develop and oversee the Bank’s growing CRM database of UK evangelical churches, from a range of sources including website data, ensuring data is regularly reviewed so as to be accurate and up to date.
  • Specifically to develop within the Bank’s CRM system an ‘Advocates’ pool, working with others in the Marketing & Business Development team to develop and manage systems for bespoke Advocates communication via multiple channels.
  • Explore the potential for the Bank to scrape publicly available website data to identify potential future opportunities for the Bank to serve customers.

 

Hours of Employment

35 hours per week to be agreed under company flexible working policy, but generally expected to be Mondays to Fridays and between 8.00am and 7.00pm. 

27 days’ (starting) paid holiday (plus statutory holidays), with days increasing with years of services, and the opportunity to purchase an additional five days’ holiday per annum.

To provide oversight covering credit quality, capital and liquidity management and business risks for Kingdom Bank.

Some of the Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities are:

  • Provide oversight on business, credit, capital and liquidity management, leveraging knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practice financial management.
  • Support CRO in lending and financial reviews.
  • Review and enhance risk registers with the business on at least a quarterly basis.
  • Proactively highlight key risks and issues, highlighting how these are being managed.
  • Support the Prudential reviews as detailed within the Compliance Monitoring Plan.
  • Provide reports as required to display performance against key indicators and regulatory compliance on risk based approach.

Some of the Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities are:

  • Provide oversight on operational risk (including operational resilience), governance conduct and reputational risk, AML and financial crime and compliance, leveraging knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practice risk management.
  • Undertake reviews as detailed with the Compliance Assurance Plan.
  • Policy Management.
  • Proactively monitor: complaints, training adherence across the Bank
  • Proactively highlight key risks and issues, highlighting how these are being managed.
  • Provide reports as required to display performance against key indicators and regulatory compliance on risk based approach.
  • Undertake horizon scanning and review Prudential updates from Regulators.
  • Support CRO in conduct and financial reviews.

Hours of Employment

Role

You will provide the Bank’s personal lending products (mortgages and personal lending) to the Bank’s customers, offering a high quality and proactive responsive service in accordance with our Ethics Policy.

The role will involve assessing and processing requests from new customers accurately adhering to regulatory and departmental procedures.

The role will include liaising with introducers of business to the Bank to identify and attract new mortgage applications as well as introducing other products the Bank offers where appropriate.

An existing qualification of Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) or equivalent is required for this role.

Hours of Employment

35 hours per week to be agreed under company flexible working policy, but generally expected to be Mondays to Fridays and between 8.00am and 5.30pm. 

27 days’ paid holiday (excluding bank holidays).

Role

The first line IT Support Administrator will provide effective IT assistance across all aspects of the business and will provide backup and support to the IT Officers.

Some of the Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities are:

  • Daily monitoring of the IT Helpdesk support call logging system.
  • Daily monitoring of Server events logs.
  • Providing 1st line technical support, triaging support tickets and responding to support requests where appropriate.
  • Escalation of more complex tickets to the relevant team member(s).
  • Installation, configuration, and deployment of new and existing hardware in line with defined procedures.
  • Keep daily and weekly logs updated.
  • Review network monitoring and escalate as required.
  • Create new users/email accounts through Active Directory and Exchange Online.
  • Software installation & troubleshooting.
  • Hardware installation & troubleshooting.
  • Participation in out of hours support (only when absolutely necessary)

Hours of Employment

35 hours per week to be agreed under company flexible working policy, but generally expected to be Mondays to Fridays and between 8.00am and 6.00pm. 

27 days’ paid holiday (excluding bank holidays), and the opportunity to purchase additional holiday up to a maximum entitlement of 32 days per annum.
