Supporting your Christian Workers
Speaking as someone who has part of Church life for as long as I can remember and I can confidently say that those people
who work full time for the Church have been and continue to be a real blessing. I think we would all agree the characteristics
of our clergy/ministers, church workers, or missionaries include commitment, self-sacrifice, supporting the needs of others, and very often a reliance on the support of others to enable their ministry.
In many instances they live in a property that goes with the job, accommodation that will end when the job ends. Even if this is not the case, it is often difficult for them to save enough for their retirement, and their accommodation in later life. We also know that the average high street lender is not interested in providing mortgages to those with a variable supported income.
This means that many church workers don’t believe that they will ever be able to get a mortgage and own their own home
We like to say yes
At Kingdom Bank we don’t think this should be the case. If this worry can be taken away, it frees people up to focus on their ministry today.
That is why we are so pleased to offer a range of different ways to help Christian workers resolve their property needs, whether now or in the future.
In this issue of the newsletter you can read some examples of this. And on page 2 we outline the different options that we offer. Even better, why not talk to us about how you can support your Christian leaders or workers. We will try to say yes!
