I am delighted to be at the start of the autumn season when we can look ahead to some exciting times. I hope like me you had the opportunity for some rest and recovery during the summer and are refreshed for the new season.
This is the time of year when we can reflect on the reaping of harvest which brings to mind many biblically inspired thoughts of good news. Our newsletter features a number of our customers who have enjoyed the good news of a property purchase whether for their Church or for their own occupation. I’m sure you’ll be inspired in reading their stories.
If you’ll allow the indulgence of expanding some of the more traditional thoughts perhaps I can suggest how together with Kingdom Bank we can facilitate the harvest. In Corinthians Paul talks about planting the seed while others water (1 Corinthians 3:6). In the same way you, our customers, save with us enabling the Bank to turn these savings into mortgages to support organisations and individuals in our Lord’s service. I want to encourage you to continue to sow by saving, tell your friends, tell your neighbours and let’s enhance the harvest together!
During 2019 you have deposited over £6m with us which has enabled us to lend over £4m. Together we can build and expand the work we do with your help and support.
During this harvest period, if you worship in a more traditional church perhaps you could consider sowing into the Kingdom with your monies.
